Gatlinburg Community Center features an indoor jr. Olympic pool, Racquet Ball, Basketball, Bowling, Aerobics, and other activities that visitors and residents alike can enjoy year-round for a small fee. Located just 4/10 mile from JMH office behind the Gatlinburg/Pittman High School. You can call the Community Center at (865) 436-4990 to find out their daily schedule, directions, and rates.
Numerous swimming sites can be found throughout the National Park; we've listed several below. A leisurely dip in a cool mountain stream or "tubing" down a river on a muggy summer day is an experience like no other. But always use caution and common sense, the rocks can be slippery and NEVER swim alone.
