Gatlinburg Community Center
The city's Recreation Department operates a community center where visitors can enjoy a variety of activities in a 52,000 square foot facility. It's located on Proffitt Road, just off U.S. Highway 321, near Mills Park. Visitors can access four racquetball courts, a fitness center, an eight-lane bowling center, a game room, a 25-yard indoor pool, a gymnasium as well as locker and meeting facilities.
Admission fees are required to bowl, swim, work out or play racquetball (courts can be reserved in advance). Swimming hours vary throughout the year, depending on the scheduling of swimming classes. The community center advises calling ahead to check on the pool's availability for any particular day. Call them at (865) 436-4990 for pool schedules as well as other specific price information on any of their activities.
