In prime condition after three-quarters of a million dollars in renovations, this course provides unique golfing excitement in a spectacular mountain setting.
The Gatlinburg Municipal Golf Course is open year-round with modern facilities, fully equipped pro shop and food services area. This beautiful 18-hole course was designed by noted golf course architect William Langford. In 1993 it underwent a major renovation by Bob Cupp & Associates of Atlanta. Today, the completely rebuilt greens and reworked fairways are better than ever. The course offers the well-seasoned golfer as well as the beginner a challenge on every hole, while its scenic beauty is unsurpassed. The course has been acclaimed as one of the most picturesque courses in America with breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Located just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, the course lies in Pigeon Forge on the road to Dollywood. Convention and group outings are welcome. Call us, we'll have a tee time waiting for you! Play our l egendary hole #12, affectionately known as "Sky Hi". It's 194 yards in length and drops 200 feet, tee to green, making it one of the most dramatic holes in the country. The #3, 529-yard par 5 we call "Long Lane," and for a good reason! And hole #17, a 231-yard par 3, offers little in the way of forgiveness. All together, 6,281 yards of challenge and fun.

For more information or tee times, call the pro shop at (865) 453-3912. The course is located in Pigeon Forge. Turn onto Dollywood Lane from Route 441. The course is one half mile on the right.
TIPS FROM THE PRO
Here are some tips on playing some of the unique holes on our course.
- HOLE #2 Drive to the center of the fairway and then keep your second shot to the left side. There is a sharp right slope in front of the green.
- HOLE #3 Keep your drive center to the right side of the fairway.
- HOLE #4 Your second shot should be kept to the left side of the fairway.
- HOLE #5 This downhill slope offers a 14 yard variance in shot distance. For example, 160 yards plays like 146 yards.
- HOLE #7 Keep play to the left side of the fairway.
- HOLE #9 Avoid the extreme left side of the fairway on your drive.
- HOLE #11 The 150 yard marker plays 165 yards to the green due to the uphill slope.
- HOLE #12 Special markers are at the tee area to assist in playing distance.
- HOLE #13 Lay-up area plays to the center of the fairway past the dogleg. This area is 185 yards from the center of the tee area.
- HOLE #15 Your drive should be center to slightly right in the fairway. The landing area is 185 yards from the center of the tee area.
- HOLE #18 It is a full drive across the first lake to the center of the fairway at the crest of the hill. The second lake will come into play on the second shot.

Take US-441 North through Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. 441 then turns into Route 66 in Sevierville towards I-40. Continue North until you approach Interstate 40. Just before the Interstate, you will find Dumplin Valley Road on your left side. Turn left onto Dumplin Valley Road (you will pass a Comfort Inn) and follow the blue and white signs to course (4 miles).
